Strategically and equitably utilizes community resources and partners to support the school’s shared mission, vision, and goals.
Professional Persona Project:
Over the summer, I participated in a three day externship wth our business partner, DeLoitte. I am presently working with our academy team to create and implement a project-based learning experience coordinated with DeLoitte in which our freshman will learn about professional personas in the digital world.
Community Input of Mission and Vision:

Includes a diverse set of educators and stakeholders in school improvement decisions.
Feedback Survey:
As a member of our McGavock Reimagine Team, it was important to me to have stakeholder input concerning rewriting our school mission and vision. Thus, I created a Microsoft Form to send out to parents and students to collect feedback on our draft statements. We have a diverse population representing many languages so we chose to use Microsoft Forms because of the embedded translation tool. This artifact represents stakeholder responses.
EL Extended School Coordinator:

Establishes, communicates, and enforces a set of standard operating procedures and routines that are equitable, culturally responsive, and aligned with district, state, and federal policy.
Managing Resources:
During the 2021-2022 school year, I was the coordinator for an optional extended school program for EL high school students. I had the opportunity to recruit teaching staff, design programming, secure bus transportation for each participant and coordinate meals for each student through the school cafeteria. I successfully set up the program, but, due to the hardships encountered during the school day, I struggled to recruit enough teachers to stay after school and I ended up coordinating and teaching. However, the students loved the experience and are asking me to bring the program back this year.
Johnson County Budget Project:

Performs all budgetary responsibilities with accuracy, transparency, and in the best interest of students and staff.
Aligning Spending to Community Needs:
During a class this summer, we wre tasked with investigating the budgeting procedures for an assigned school district.
